Home feature layout from KC Magazine.

I love doing home features when the home really shows the personalities and lifestyles of the owners. This was one such home, and the family was really fun to work with. Katy, Bob and I really enjoyed getting to know them, and Bob and I had a great day at their home for the shoot. I like to be able to show the details that really tell the story of their personalities and I think Bob and I got to do that here. Plus I love color and this family is clearly not afraid of using it to express their personal style. I always want home photography to look natural to show off the architecture and décor, and Bob captured that for me.
